BrightTALK has two webinar types which utilise different methods of delivering the live/recorded content.
Live & Recorded (delivered as HTTP live streaming/HLS) - The majority of PC/mobile devices will work, including iOS, Android, and Windows 10 devices.
The Internet connection used to stream our content should meet the following requirements:
- Pro webinars require at least 2Mbps.
- Standard audio+slides webinars only require a 128Kbps connection to the Internet.
- Recorded videos in SD require around 800Kbps.
- Recorded videos in HD require around 2Mbps.
Standard (Legacy) audio/slides webinars:
Live (delivered via RTMP flash audio) - Devices must be equipped with Adobe Flash to allow playback.
Recorded (delivered via RTMP flash audio OR as an MP3 progressive download) - The majority of PC/mobile devices will work, including iOS, Android, and Windows 8 devices.
