Connector Troubleshooting: What are API Limits?

When using one of BrightTALK's Connectors, you may occasionally run into one or more of the following error messages:

 

Concurrent access limit '10' reached

Daily quota '100000' reached

Daily quota '50000' reached

 

These messages come directly from your Marketing Automation/CRM system and indicate that the total number of API calls across all of your integrations (not just BrightTALK) in a specific time period has surpassed the limits you negotiated in your contract with those vendors.  

 

While BrightTALK may not be the root cause of this issue, you can always adjust the number of API calls BrightTALK makes by changing the "Sync Settings" on your Connector:
