In order to provide an optimal viewing experience for your audience, please ensure you are presenting from a reliable internet connection.
We recommend the following as minimum bandwidth requirements for presenters:
6Mbps (megabits per second) download / 2Mbps upload
Your download performance impacts the connectivity between you and your view of the BrightTALK presenter screen i.e your fellow presenters' video feeds (if you are not the only presenter), any screen-shares that are initiated, and visibility on audience questions.
Your upload performance impacts the quality and consistency of the audio / video feed that you are broadcasting to your audience (and presenters) via BrightTALK.
It is strongly recommended that you carry out a practise webinar in advance of presenting to your live audience. This practise should be carried out on the same internet connection that are you are intending to use on the live day. If you have a colleague available to join you for the practise, they can confirm the quality of your audio / video. This will give you an indication of how your internet connection is likely to perform on the live day.
