The type of presentation you choose depends on what you want to share, communicate or demo with your audience - and what your audience prefers. Below is a list of each of the presentation types and what type of content works well for that particular option.
Screenshare
Screenshare is a great option for technical overviews, showcasing product demos, or for showing the audience a UX walkthrough. It is also a great option on the Talks platform when you want to present both slides AND a software overview on your computer or device during a single presentation.
Screensharing on Talks and Pro Webinars is also ideal if you have animations or videos that you want to share with the audience, as Pro Webinar does not support animations or videos embedded into uploaded PPTs.
Slide presentations
Slide presentations using Pro Webinar and dial-in audio are an ideal option for presenters who are more comfortable on audio and who would prefer not to be on camera.
Slide presentations for those who prefer not to be on camera can also be given on Talks - simply ensure the webcam is turned off and you are using the screen share option while running your slide-sharing software of choice on your computer or device.
Slide presentations are also an ideal format for sharing strategic overviews that can be enriched through slides and visuals.
Webcam only
Webcam presentations are ideal if you are conducting a panel discussion that does not need to be supported by slides. Audiences like to connect with the person they are learning from, and webcam is an excellent way to foster these connections.
Webcam also works well for ‘Ask the Expert,’ one-on-one interviews, and opinion-based content formats.
