Yes! You can run a practice webinar by scheduling a “Practice/Private” webinar in the BrightTALK Channel.
If you are a Channel Owner, you can follow the directions below to schedule a “Practice/Private” webinar. If you are a Presenter and do not have access to the administration page for your webinar, you will need to coordinate with your main point of contact for your webinar.
To begin, go to your channel page and on the back-end select the “Content tab”.
Then click on the green button labeled “Add Content”.
From this drop-down menu, select “Schedule a Webinar”.
From here, you just need to fill the Webcast title, Description and Presenter name.
Next, set a duration. Keep in mind that on BrightTALK, your session can only go 4 minutes beyond the scheduled time - after that point the broadcast will automatically end.
Next, we will want to schedule the date, the start time and the time zone you are in. On BrightTALK, the date and time are listed based on the presenter’s time zone.
Next, add your tags. Add your tag in the text field and then select “Add tag”. Since this is a practice webinar, feel free to use Test.
Moving on to the publishing section, you want to make sure you change your webinar from Public webcast to Practice (Private). This way, your practice webinar is not publicised and can only be accessed if you have the url.
Then proceed to the bottom right of the page and click “proceed”.
