Salesforce Connector: Release Notes

We release new versions of our Salesforce Connector to the AppExchange store typically 2-3 times per year and we recommend always updating to the latest version. Here is a breakdown of each release:

4.0	July 12 2022	Updated app to support latest Salesforce API versions. Note: When updating from the previous version, you will need to re-do your field mappings due to Salesforce-related changes.
3.3	May 25 2022	Updated app to support new data enrichment process. Added new fields for Job Function, Company Revenue, Linkedin profile, and Global State/Region.
3.2	March 21 2022	Fix to issue that prevented re-authentication of an existing Channel.
3.1	Nov 15 2021	Minor fix to remove a false positive error that was happening sporadically.
3.0	Sep 21 2021	Two key error-handling improvements: Errors on individual leads will no longer prevent the Campaign Member sync from running and error messages for failed records will now include the record's email (in addition to the id) to make it easier to troubleshoot.
2.8	Feb 22nd 2021	Added support for new phone number fields: E.164 Format, International Format, and Number type (mobile or landline).
2.7	Nov. 11th 2020	Postal Code and City now available as new mappable fields for Leads and Contacts in the Connector
2.6	Aug. 13th 2020	Implemented one minor bug fix impacting sandbox authentication.
2.5	Jul. 31st 2020	Small bug fix for a managed field issue- our UTM fields were conflicting with existing UTM fields if the names were the same. Fixed by adding a prefix to all BrightTALK managed fields.
2.4	June 10th 2020	Series of small code modernizations after discussion with Salesforce app team.
2.2-2.3	Internal only	Released just for internal review by the Salesforce team- all small modernizations of the App based on the latest best practices.
2.1	Feb 14th 2020	Minor changes to Campaign data sync attributes added during version 2.0.
2.0	Jan 28th 2020	Large version release to migrate Connector over to modern BrightTALK APIs. In addition to now supporting the ability to sync "Campaign" type leads (Summit and Intent), there were a number of significant performance and stability improvements layered in.
1.6	Jun. 11th 2019	Added support for audience "Questions" to sync through the Connector. Now available as a mappable field.
1.0-1.5	Legacy	Legacy app versions- not recommended to still use.
