If your content is on-demand (recorded), we provide the option to a set a certain date and time for when you want it to be unpublished.
This option can be found by following these steps:
1. Go to your Channel in BrightTALK Central
2. Click 'Manage' next to the content you wish to configure.
3. Then click 'Edit' on that content
4. Scroll down and set the "Unpublish date" and "Unpublish time."
Once configured, the content will automatically become unpublished at that date and time.
Note: If your content is syndicated in from another Channel, you will need to set the unpublish date and time on the original Channel. More information on syndication can be found here.
FAQs:
Q: What does unpublishing content actually do?
Unpublishing content makes it completely unavailable for viewing. If you wish to instead just restrict who can view it, we recommend setting the "Visibility" setting to "Private."
Q: Can I later re-publish an "unpublished" content?
Yes- you can. Just follow the same steps outlined above and change the "Publish status" setting back to "Published."
Q: Is unpublishing the same as deleting?
No- the content still exists, it's just no longer visible publicly.
